We’ve recently had a big change at Studio in the Sun. Ryan and I (I’m Sarah) have moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, where John is already located. That means all three Studio contributors are living in the same city. What’s more, brainstorms are no longer confined to digital interfacing, and producing videos does not require that anyone cross half of the USA. Other than the benefit of living in a warm sunny city (we’ll miss your summers and falls, Chicago), productions will be faster, simpler and less costly—three big bonuses!
We’re still plenty excited about the last videos we made for Debbie Carlos before the big move. We did a product video that dreamily unveiled Debbie’s first foray into color posters, and a profile video that provided a venue for Debbie to explain the credo she embraces with her work: art is for everyone. It’s a philosophy Ryan, John, and I wholly agree with, and one which reinforces our goal of making videos that help artists succeed at what they do.
Our first LA projects are in the works, so stay tuned!
